Research and plan preliminary work

I listen to a lot of music, therefore I see a lot of covers every day. I have a few ideas that are mostly inspired by some well-known albums for example: Californication, Back To Black, Blond, Nevermind, Rumours, etc... In my last Album cover that I did in spring the genre was old-school hip hop, this time I wanted to do something else like pop, rock or electronic music (drum and bass). Last time I heavily relied on the use of AI to create the cover and this time I would like to use something I made from scratch therefore my main inspiration source would be my phone gallery. I plan to look over photos I made over the years and maybe to find something that I would see as an album cover.

Rumours - Fleetwood Mac

From this album cover, I plan to use the cutout style to draw the audiences' attention to the main subjects. This is achieved by removing the background leaving a blank wallpaper and adding a filter to the photo with the subjects.

Back To Black - Amy Winehouse

From this cover, I want to use the overlay style of text.

Blond - Frank Ocean

From this cover, I will use the explicit content label as a convention destined for albums that target an older audience.
