Development of production skills

To answer the question 'did your production skills develop throughout this project?',

I will use a letter format to resemble the Classic genre of music.

At first, before starting the project I had no idea what it would get me through and be like. However, I was passionate about my idea from the beginning and excited to learn more about this industry, not only the print industry but also the fashion industry. I managed to get through everything I found challenging. In my opinion, my production skills have advanced in many domains. The ‘preliminary work,’ which served as a warm-up for this project, was the first task I had to complete. Its purpose was to design alone a book or CD cover. I found this work fun and challenging as I made a lot of different drafts till I was satisfied with the result. Before this project, I wasn't able to manage my time well. Now I advanced because of the consistent work and the schedule on which I remained focused. A significant portion of the time I spent on this project was spent on research and planning, I’ve learned that research and preparation are critical in the world of magazines The research made for the magazine has taught me a lot about conventions and how to respect them which is shown in Fashion Groove. The most drastic improvement in my opinion is in the technical department as I learned how to make good pictures together with the light positioning for the model to look good and highlighted, also I learned a lot about Photoshop, Wix and Canva throughout the blog as I edited and created content using those sites/apps. In Photoshop I can say that I advanced the most, especially in features like cutouts, filters and text. This happened because I produced the magazine on that app. Working with the models was also a unique and instructive experience that gave me a glimpse of a director in a photoshoot set as I was able to give indications and use my creativity exactly how I pleased. I also progressed and discovered that I enjoy writing. My vocabulary has improved tremendously due to reading magazines and other blog posts, and I am now able to create descriptive blog articles with ease.
