ABOUT ME

           My name is Matei Miko. I’m 18 years old and currently a student at Transylvania College in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. I’m planning to pursue a business career. Some of the things I enjoy in my free time are going to the gym, photography, and traveling. I’ve also developed a real passion for cars, watches, art, music and fragrances.
           For my Media Studies projects, I chose the magazine task for AS and the documentary for A2. Both of these tasks are  a great way for me to step out of my comfort zone and learn new things. They help me understand how media can tell a story or shape a message, which is useful for someone who wants to go into business.
I first got into photography when I was 13, thanks to my parents. What started as a fun hobby turned into something more meaningful. I realized that taking photos isn’t just about capturing an image, it’s about freezing a moment, an emotion, a memory.
           Over time, I started to see the world differently, noticing details and beauty I might’ve missed before. That passion even led me to work as a photographer for Transylvania Fashion, which was an amazing experience and helped me grow creatively and professionally.
           For me, these school projects and hobbies are more than just things I do. Each one teaches me something new and helps me get closer to where I want to be in the future.
