Photoshoot research and planning

I chose two models for my project. Both were found at Transilvania Fashion modelling agency.

I want to have a diverse and big photoshoot therefore I selected those two models for their different qualities and body structure to make sure the clothes I will choose will fit on one or the other model. I told both of them on the day of the photoshoot to have their day to day makeup put on as we don't want to lose time doing makeup.

Next, I had to think about the clothes they were going to wear on the photoshoot day. The most important factor was to make sure each piece of clothing resembled a genre of music. I looked around the house to find pieces that made me think about specific genres. I managed to find enough pieces to make Hip Hop, Rock and classic styles. Mostly they are from my mother's closet and from mine. At country style, I had a challenge as I couldn't find any suitable pieces of clothing except small jeans shorts and boots. Then I found a picture on Pinterest that showed a normal dress shirt with a jean made vest on top that looked amazing. The dress shirt was my own but the jean vest was found thrift shopping at a local store. After all those pieces were found I needed the most important item from Country style which is the cowboy hat. I was lucky as the perfect hat was found at my grandfather's house.

After I had all the clothes I needed to make sure that all of them related to a certain genre. To do that I asked my friends and family to tell me which genre of music each clothes reminded them of. I had some struggles at Rock because of the pants. I initially chose a pair of jeans and people told me to change it into something more dark. Therefore I borrowed my mother's black leggings.

The camera used will be Sony A1 with FE 2.8/24-70 GM Lenses

As my parents are in the domain I will benefit from a studio just below my house. There I have 3 professional spotlights which will help me put light on the models as I want. Also, I used attachments on the camera for better lighting and for mounting it on a tripod.

The lights are Godox Witstro AD600BM. For my vision to be complete the background will be fully black as I require a simple and minimalistic look to highlight as much as possible the model and the clothes.
