Making of

The photoshoot was scheduled for 15:00. It started at past 5 as the traffic was heavy and the models were a bit late. After they arrived they started to change into the first sets of clothes (the cover ones) and we started taking pictures. I kindly asked the other model to take a picture of me as I take pictures myself for documentation. The photoshoot went well and it was how I planned it. It took us about 4 hours as we also took time off to eat/drink and the changing process of the girls took time as well. We saved time by telling the models to come with their make-up already done and by having the installation of the wallpaper and lights already done (I made the setup that morning). The girls were happy and cooperative throughout the process and they also liked the pictures and the experience which made me feel good. The snacks and supplies that I bought that morning from the local store were a nice touch as we all felt a bit hungry and thirsty after the first 2 hours. Overall everything went smoothly and I am truly proud of myself.

Questions of reflection

- Did you have any assistant to help you with the camera/lights/props?

As I said before the set was completely made by me in the morning of the shoot and the only assistance needed was for documentation as I needed someone to take a picture of me.

- Were there any new ideas that came up on the spot? Were those due to some unforeseen changes in your plans?

A lot of different positions for the models came on the spot but overall everything went as I expected with no unforeseen changes.

- Did you do anything totally different than you had in mind? Why and what?

No, because we didn't have unexpected situations and I had a clear vision of what my magazine would look like.

- How did you feel at the end of the photoshoots?

Firstly I felt proud and relieved to finally finish this big part of the project. I was a bit nervous beforehand because of the anxiety of the pictures not looking as I expected but in the end, all was good.

- If you were to do this again, what would you do the same & what would you do differently? Why?

If I were to do it again the only thing I would change is buying more milk chocolate as we ran out after 1 hour.
