Final Preliminary project

This is the final album cover of a hardcore electronic music band inspired mostly by my own gallery and experiences.

The experience was interesting as I had challenges with bringing the idea to life because I didn't find the first drafts appealing which demotivated me. The whole project took 3 hours from the idea to the final image. The Canva app was very useful and a lot easier to work with than Photoshop which made the whole process a lot easier to finish and all the small tweaks needed were made in an instant.

I had a lot of second thoughts when it came to choosing the: font, background, and colors used for the text. For example, I tried about 10 different fonts to finally arrive at "Zantiqa" which was used in the final render. Even though I still have doubts about the font used, I am fine with the final font because I believe it represents drum and bass music to some extent. All those challenges helped me widen my perspective and creativity. My favorite part about the photo is the way in which the monkey is highlighted making it the star of the cover.

The most important thing I've improved while making this project was my ability to use Canva's editing features. For example, I did not know how to remove the background on Canva before this project and now I am more than able to do so. Also using the cutout tool made me be more precise making a much better cutout.
