We started filming on the 19th of February exactly as we scheduled. The first shooting was done at Meron Gallery, a coffee shop combined with a changing art gallery in the middle of the city ( Cluj ). First, we met at my house to pick up the gear ( the Nikon Z7) after we checked its battery, memory, and settings, which my dad helped me calibrate. We set out to Meron Gallery using an Uber, which cost us 18 RON. After we arrived, we bought a coffee as this is their policy for viewing the art, and asked them nicely if it was ok to film for our school project. After more explaining and discussing, they permitted us to film freely whatever we want except people who are not employees, as they may not be ok with us filming them, and we don't want

to disturb anyone.

The first test shot we took with the camera inside the gallery is on the left side of the screen. After checking that everything was functional, we drank our coffees and went straight to filming. Rianna and I took turns filming. She had a more rapid approach, as I had a slower and more focused one. We stayed there for a total of 1 hour and then went to an art exposition at the Cluj Museum of Art, where we continued filming some paintings and the building with its large garden in turns.

At the Museum, there were a lot of people as it was a vernissage of multiple artists. Because of the large number of people, we didn't stay long ( only half an hour ) and went to the city center ( Piata Unirii ) where we filmed some buildings and chaterdials. It was very cold outside, therefore we hurried a lot during the outside filming, and after approximately 30 minutes of filming hopped straight into a taxi, and we both went home.

When I arrived, I quickly went over what we filmed and transferred the data from an SD card to a USB drive. The footage was good, but the quickly filmed footage was not usable as it did not fit the theme we were going for. Therefore, I showed Rianna how she filmed and

how I wanted it to look, and decided that I will be filming from now on to be sure that I meet the production criteria that we want.

On the second day, we went into the city to film buildings. We did not have as much time as we expected, as Rianna had some plans later in the night, and I had to go to the gym as well. We met at my house after school and took the camera into the city. After filming the UAD university and other culturally relevant places, we went to drink a coffee at a local meron to discuss future filming plans.

For comparison, this was Rianna's shot.

And this was mine

These were the first shots taken at Meron Gallery. They were filmed with the camera in hand, as we didn't have the gimbal with us, which is why the footage looks shaken, but this illustrates an initial idea of the different filming styles we have. Again, after we viewed this Footage, we agreed to remain at the initial idea of me being the Director of Photography which deals with filming and image setup. I also have the role of Producer, as I will make the planning with the food, transportation, etc. Rianna will be the Director/writer/interviewer as she will plan the story, ask the questions, and create a plot. She will also be an Assistant producer because, during filming, I will need help to set up the gear and the set. Also, she has the task of preventing certain accidents from happening
